A dollar from every Teen Burger sold went to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, along with money from car cutouts and from social networking sites.
I did my part at the New Minas location where we gave away some root beer mugs to those with Teen Burger reciepts, and at the Greenwood Mall where I also took in the back-to-school Es Skateboard show, put on by Limitless Skate and Snow.
Here are the two interviews I did with Tim Dunlop from the MS Society:
Also that night I went to the Port Williams Waterfront Revitalization meeting, for citizens to give their ideas on developing the waterfront over the next 20 years.
Check out the gallery below for a look at what Port Williams would be if it was made of Lego and paper:
- Onion rings and pondering
- Hunter giving away a mug at the drive-thru
- Tim Dunlop and I in New Minas
- Here’s the SKATE competition – think HORSE in basketball.
- Do a trick and the next person has to do it or they get a letter. First one to 5 letters LOSES.
- Some of the Es footwear for schooltime.
- The cutouts covering Greenwood!
- Big yellow one is the Shur-Gain building, we got to play around and draw all over it.
