Clip of the Week: July 29-August 1

I might have been in the background of this had it not been cropped . . .
A good skill for a journalist is to see something out-of-the-ordinary and remember it, bringing it up to someone later to see if there’s any story in it.
Now, I didn’t break the story about Godfrey Ellis getting married at the middle of Raymond Field, but I did see the pictures being taken and commented on it in my Clip of the Week, only to read that story the following morning.
Keep your eyes peeled, everybody. You never know when you’ll see something, think “oh that’s neat” and hear it in the Maritime News Network update the next morning.
